Terms of service

Version: 4 October 2026

These terms describe the current live-only service. Separate written agreements govern paid business projects.

1. Provider and agreement

jemmox is operated by Lars Feldeisen, Kapellenweg 8, 45768 Marl, Germany. Contact: lars@polsum-systems.de, 01792282531. These terms apply to registration and the standard service. Registration is open to individuals and businesses. If you cannot legally enter an agreement yourself, obtain the approval required from your legal representative. Anyone acting for an organisation must have authority to do so.

You expressly accept these terms when registering. An account becomes usable after email verification. Verification establishes access to a mailbox, not a person's legal identity. The standard service currently has no usage fee; paid services require a separate express agreement. Registering does not create a payment obligation.

2. Service and viewing link

The service provides browser-based live streaming, one saved scene per account, a permanent viewing link and live chat. Guests choose a display name for chat; signed-in users use their account display name. Chat messages are not archived. Standard streams are limited to 100 simultaneous viewers; available capacity and network conditions can reduce the audience actually supported. Please contact sales as you approach this limit. Recording, video on demand, guaranteed availability, SSO and in-house media relays are not part of the standard service.

Streams are not listed in a public directory. Anyone with the link can still watch and share it. A permalink is not access control, so confidential content needs additional protection. We do not record streams; viewers may nevertheless record content using their own tools.

3. Account and technical requirements

Use a reachable email address and accurate account information. Protect your password and session tokens and promptly report suspected misuse. You are not automatically responsible for every misuse of your account; applicable law and your own conduct determine responsibility. You need supported browsers, sufficient connectivity and the relevant camera, microphone and screen permissions. Device labels and saved scenes may require reassignment on another computer.

4. Lawful content and rights

Only stream or store lawful content for which you hold the necessary rights and permissions. This includes music, video, images, trademarks, personality rights, data protection, business secrets and consent from people shown where required. Prohibited content includes criminal material, child sexual abuse or exploitation, terrorist material, unlawful hate speech and threats, unlawful glorification of violence, unlawful sexual content, fraud, malware and infringement of others' copyright. Age-restricted or harmful-to-minors material must not be made available without legally required safeguards; the standard service does not provide age verification.

Do not disrupt the service, circumvent limits, create artificial viewers to manipulate capacity or use someone else's account. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us only the non-exclusive rights necessary to store your scene and technically transmit your stream for the relevant period of use. This covers technical service providers needed to deliver the service, not independent advertising or commercial reuse of your content.

5. Notices and restrictions

Anyone can report suspected illegal content without an account to lars@polsum-systems.de. Include the exact viewing link, date and time with time zone, the reason you believe the content is illegal, available evidence, contact details where legally required and a statement that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Also contact the appropriate emergency services if there is an immediate danger.

We review notices promptly and with reasons. Where legally required or necessary to address concrete risks, we may stop individual streams, restrict access to content or temporarily or permanently restrict accounts. We consider severity, repetition, context and the legitimate interests of those affected. Where permitted and required, we provide the reason, scope and review options for a decision. You can challenge a restriction through our contact address; statutory remedies remain available. We do not conduct general automated content monitoring. These terms do not technically prevent illegal streams or replace processing notices.

6. Availability and liability

Maintenance, technical failures and network problems may interrupt broadcasts. Keep your own copies of important images and scenes. This does not exclude statutory performance, defect or consumer rights. Liability is unlimited for intentional conduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and mandatory statutory liability, including applicable product liability. For ordinary negligence affecting essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the agreement; other liability for ordinary negligence is excluded only where legally permitted. These terms impose no blanket indemnity for third-party claims.

7. Termination and changes

You can delete your account at any time from the account page after confirming your password. This stops active streams and deletes the account, saved scene and viewing link. Necessary statutory retention or preservation of evidence for a specific matter is unaffected. We may discontinue the free standard service with reasonable notice; serious breaches or legal requirements may justify immediate proportionate action. Material changes to these terms will be communicated and require renewed acceptance where legally necessary. Silence is not treated as blanket acceptance.

8. Privacy and applicable law

The privacy information explains account, scene, connection and notice data. German law applies without removing mandatory consumer protections in your usual country of residence. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction and statutory rights remain unaffected. Contact us with questions, complaints or enquiries about consumer dispute resolution; applicable information duties remain unaffected.
